Dry Eye
According to TFOS DEWS II, “Dry eye is a multifactorial disease of the ocular surface characterized by a loss of homeostasis of the tear film and a accompanied by ocular symptoms, in which tear film instability and hyperosmolarity, ocular surface inflammation and damage, and neurosensory abnormalities play Etiological roles”
Dry Eye Causes
- There is not enough tears being produces.
- There is abnormally high rate of evaporation of tears.

- Computer Vision Syndrome ( Excessive Use of Digital Screen )
- Environmental conditions ( Polutions, Dust, Weather Change )
- Refractive Surgery
- Contact Lens Wear
- Old Age
